PS Sports & Gear USA is built on more than three decades of experience in motorsport, engineering, fabric branding, and premium event display systems.
The PS story began with founder Brad Anassis, born in South Africa into a technical engineering family and raised around motorsport, manufacturing, and performance innovation. Brad’s career started on two wheels, competing in motorcycle racing and later spending time in the USA racing in the Superbike scene.
It was during that period in the late 1980s that Brad was exposed to the power of fabric branding in the USA. When he returned to South Africa, he saw an opportunity to create something new: a professional, branded, collapsible canopy system that could support businesses, racing teams, events, and brands in a bold and practical way. In 1989, the PS concept was born.
From Motorsport Roots
to Fabric Branding Leadership
Brad’s racing & engineering background shaped the DNA of PS from the very beginning. In motorsport, equipment needs to be strong, reliable, quick to set up, and professional in appearance. That same mindset became the foundation of the PS product range.
Innovation Through Manufacturing
PS has always believed in controlling quality from the inside out. In 2005, the company invested in digital fabric printing technology, using dye sublimation to create vibrant, durable, full-color fabric branding. In 2009, PS advanced again with direct-to-fabric digital printing, allowing for greater creative freedom, sharper branding, and faster production capability.
Bringing PS to the USA
Today, PS Sports & Gear USA carries that same heritage into the American market. The focus is on premium custom canopy systems, magnesium frame technology, inflatable structures, branded walls, event accessories, and complete display solutions for brands that want to stand out.
